I was incredibly lucky in July, having had the opportunity to read both a masterpiece of science fiction and its equivalent in fantasy (Lamentation by Ken Scholes). A good month indeed!

In my first post of 2010, resolution #2 was to get more involved in French fandom. I mentioned an online genre reading group that basically worked as a forum: Le Cercle d'Atuan. We vote and discuss one book per month (with multiple online meetings as close as every two days) and also chit chat about loads of other genre or non-genre related stuff.  ( Read more... )
